Internships at Eliot Community Human Services

Eliot Community Human Services is a human services agency that values education and thrives on providing students with high quality educational experiences. The agency has a variety of learning opportunities with many talented supervisors that are excited to share their knowledge and insights. Eliot has year round opportunities for internships. We offer field placements in a variety of areas, including:

Internship Requirements

The primary requirement is that students must be able to demonstrate in interest in the population of the program they wish to be placed in. Students must also be able to pass a background check, provide a resume, and 2 references. Students will also need to have a formal interview with the program. Lastly, students must take part in Eliot’s New Staff Orientation which ranges from 3-7 days depending on the division the internship is in.

Note: To work in our youth programs you must be over the age of 21.
