Program of Assertive Community Treatment (PACT)

PACT is a treatment team approach designed to provide comprehensive, community based psychosocial treatment, rehabilitation and support to persons with severe and persistent mental illness.

Our Staff

A team of professionals provide this evidence based service with backgrounds and training in:

  • Social work
  • Rehabilitation
  • Counseling
  • Nursing
  • Psychiatry

The PACT Team serves as the primary service provider for each individual referred. The team provides the majority of services in the community, offering a highly individualized, recovery based, assertive approach to treatment. Staffing standards and intervention protocols are designed to meet PACT national fidelity standards endorsed by the National Alliance for the Mentally Ill. Eliot operates PACT Teams in the Lowell and Metro North areas. Each team serves up to 60 individuals referred by the Department of Mental Health. Staff is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and 365 days a year.
