Respite Programs

Eliot's Respite Programs provide a safe and stable place to live and help in resolving community living issues for adults in psychiatric crisis

Our Residential Respite homes located in Danvers, Lynn, Lowell, and Medford deliver a wraparound model that ensures each person receives intensive treatment through short-term, client-centered care.  The Respite Program provides therapeutic and rehabilitative interventions to support each person served in achieving his or her goals and reaching a level of recovery for individuals to return to a stable living environment in his/her community within 30 days.

Mobile Respite delivers intensive short term supports to DMH referred consumers from the Lowell and Metro North areas.  This flexible mobile service provides individualized supports that assist each consumer with maintaining his/her community tenure, connecting or reconnecting with service providers and community resources, or returning to the community following a discharge from psychiatric hospitalization.

Comprehensive needs assessment  Vocational assistance and support
Housing and entitlement assistance Medication assessment/ prescribing
Safety and risk assessment/planning Linkage to health and mental health services
Discharge coordination from  inpatient facilities Forensic assessment and consultation
Support and assistance with daily living skills Substance abuse, support and service linkage
Transportation training and support Peer Support Services
