Developmental Disabilities

Eliot has been operating innovative, high quality residential and day programs for adults with developmental disabilities for 37 years

KelliherPageComp-v3opt Eliot’s Developmental Disabilities Division is a CARF accredited, individual-centered continuum of services that provides innovative and high quality programming to adults with developmental disabilities. The programs offer support and opportunities for individuals to enrich their lives, obtain housing and employment, develop personal skills and competencies, and enjoy a full range of community activities while developing a network of caring relationships. Supports are provided based on individual preferences, emphasizing self-determination and individual control. Eliot staff work in partnership with families and community organizations to build positive relationships and comprehensive support networks and to create opportunities for individuals to grow to their full potential. Using a Positive Behavioral Supports (PBS) approach within all of our programming, Eliot’s DD services are strengths-based, promoting development and independence at home and in the community.   Whether in a residential home, day program, or other setting, individuals are surrounded by a caring staff dedicated to meeting the unique needs of each individual. The Developmental Disabilities Division operates:

All adults served in our programs are referred through the Department of Developmental Disabilities.
