Using a person-centered, family-driven approach, Eliot believes strongly in partnering with the communities we serve. Eliot programs collaborate with one another, utilizing the expertise within the agency to provide the highest standard of quality services to clients and their families. In 2016, Eliot joined forces with the Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (MSPCC) to further strengthen both agencies’ services and better address the needs of children and families. Together, Eliot and MSPCC’s collective mission is driven by a commitment to enhancing the lives of the most vulnerable, at-risk populations and MSPCC’s long-standing efforts to advocate for the well-being of children and families.
We’re paying attention to a number of issues related to child and family well-being, child abuse prevention, foster care, child welfare reform, mental health, and substance abuse prevention across the lifespan. Eliot employees are a powerful voice for the communities we serve and have the ability to affect change for children, adults, and families across the Commonwealth.
This space is a platform for Eliot to advocate on behalf of ourselves and these communities. As this page develops, opportunities will arise to engage in advocacy related to the budget, the legislative agenda, and state level policies that guide services and supports. We have lots of exciting opportunities in the coming weeks and months, so please check back for updates.
