Every year, more than 600 children in Massachusetts are expelled from preschool and kindergarten.

Eliot’s Mental Health Consultation services are primarily offered to pre-schools, daycare centers (family or center-based), or other facilities licensed by the Department of Early Education and Care (EEC) throughout Northeast Massachusetts.  Eliot’s philosophy is that early assessment and intervention promote the best results for children.  Mental Health Consultation team members give teachers and parents necessary skills and support so that children –from birth through age 14 with primary emphasis on birth to age 6 – exhibiting challenging behaviors have the opportunity to thrive in a safe and nurturing environment at home and in childcare.
